Green Woman made from Fimo Soft and brushed with PearlEx pigments and createx iridescent acrylic paint. Finished with a top coat of matt sealer.
Sculpted a fairy head a few months ago which I was really pleased with so I made a mould of it with Sculpey mold maker. Had a play with it today and voila out came this green lady - she measures 8cm high!

Hi sengster, no I used PearlEx powders for the metalic effect, I find it gives a softer more natural metal feel than using foil. You just apply with a paintbrush or finger and buff a little then seal it with varnish or sealer. Hope this helps!
Oh thats pretty cool. Thanks for the tip. I was very curious about polymer clay cuz I stumbled on a library book about it one day and it looked pretty interesting. I'm making plush right now and I was thinking about geting some to experiment on for like small jewels or parts.
I only really started playing with the polymer clay last year. I've found out that there is so much you can do with it. It's really versatile, especially the effects you can get with the PearlEx powders and metal leaf. Have a play I'm sure you'll be really pleased with it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Featuring `ATrue's Literary Fundraiser, works from many Literature Groups on Deviantart aswell as Personal Choices and #Xpose-it's quiz night on the 26th March!
